I lost the bet

Well this is my first entry to the Worthen family blog, it is the result of losing a bet to my wife. My wife has done such a wonderful job keeping tabs on the family, and taking pictures; but what else can you expect from best!
I am currently residing in Ely, Nevada we just got done with our first full pad practice up here and there seems to be some good things happening. That's about all I legally permitted to say right now.
More importantly something worth noting is that my little princess talked to me on the phone today for the first time. And I mean she really was saying things to me. I miss those girls but at least I get to talk to them. I am really a blessed man somehow I was given the love and company of the two most beautiful girls in the world. I know it's not easy for them but I sure do appreciate the support and love. At least I know that I did two things right, my marriage and my daughter.

Beach Trip

During Ryan's only 5 days off this summer we took a REALLY spur of the moment trip to Oceanside, California! We stayed right on the beach in some condos and made a lot of fun family memories before the summer ended.

MORE...Beach Trip

While we were in california we went to the San Diego Wildlife Animal Park. It was really cute seeing Kaylee get so excited about the animals, but she wasn't to fond of touching them. She would get close then pull back at the last minute.

Also one of the nights out at the beach there was a summer night shopping thing. So we went around the tents while the bands were playing enjoying the fresh california air. Kaylee & Coby rode a horse around for the first time, which was adorable!

Summer Camp

It's that time of year again...UNLV Summer Football Camp! I am so proud of Ryan for all the hard work he has put into everything going on in his life this summer. He manages getting GREAT grades, going to every single summer work-out on top of being on the leadership committee, fist counselor in the young mens and working insane hours doing tiring labor then coming home and spending quality time with his needy spouse and energetic daughter...all with a huge smile on his face! We already miss him but are getting really antsy for the season to start. FYI: August 30th at 7:00pm - UNLV vs Utah State, GO REBELS!

Football Girl

My little girl has been introduced to football since the moment she was born so that makes her naturally have a love for it. We have some really fun moments playing and throwing the ball around. My favorite is when we yell out, "TOUCH-DOWN!" and she throws her arms up in the sign of touchdown. Like I said, definetly a natural!
